The students of The Bhawanipur College were beyond honoured to have the presence of Mr. Nandan Mall, CMD and Founder of Hulladek Recycling Pvt.Ltd and Mr. Ajay Mittal, Director, Climate Change Programs, South and South East Asia to share their knowledge and valuable experiences with us in the event, 10X4 -Celebrating World Environment Day on 14th June, 2021 at 04:00 pm in collaboration with Hulladek Recycling Pvt. Ltd. Prof. Dilip Shah inaugurated the webinar by emphasizing the importance of our environment and preserving it with care.
A short introduction about the founders and their motto was given by Professor Urvi Shukla, who was the moderator of the event.
Mr. Ajay Mittal carried the flow of event, as he spoke about environment, it’s importance, the global warming and how does his organization work by planting trees in areas which were affected by cyclones.
“If we cannot reuse or recycle then refuse that product”, this was an important tagline of the day.
Mr Nandan Mall enlightened the students about how their company works and assisted them to manage their E-Waste properly by not disposing the waste through kitchen scraps but try to recycle them.
Mr Mall not only discussed about waste management but also persuaded students to practice rainwater harvesting and spoke about different ways of saving water for future generations.
The webinar came to an end through a quick round of interesting question/answer session between Prof Urvi Shukla and the participants.
The webinar was extremely informative and fulfilling and surely the words of wisdom spoken by each speaker left an impact on the student participants.
