5A side football tournament by BBA Department

The intra college football tournament of the department of BBA was held on 01.03.2020. Six teams comprising of 5+1 members each, added up to a successful 5 A side football tournament. The teams were enlisted as follows:

Team 1-Rohit Patel, Siddharth Banerjee, Anirudh Ghosh, Ritoban Laha, Birat Saha and Md Faizan Ahmed Mullick,

Team 2-Manish Patel, Sushant Singh, Akash Sengupta, Raviraj Chapra, Rohit Chaudhary and Rahul Dhar.

Team 3-Shourjo Banerjee, Aniket Mondol, Vedant Sharma ,Rishiraj Chakrabarty, Ankit Bandopadhyay and Syed Azhamuddin.

Team 4-Suyash Somvanshi, Rishi Karnani, Hozaif Rashid, Ayaan Ali, Ritishek Kumar and Arya Singh.

Team 5-Shabbir Palanpurwala, Prasanta Verma, Siddharth Sharma, Taha Nauman Karim and Aman Jaiswal.

Team 6-Saket Modi, Rakshit Jaiswal, Devjyoti Banerjee, Aman Singh and Abdul Wajid.

The first knock out round witnessed team 2, 4 and 6 being knocked and team 1, 3 and 5 qualifying to the semi-finals. The finalists Team 5 and 1 were received amidst an enthusiastic audience. The finals saw a gruelling match between the opponents, with both sides leaving no opportunity to score. The arduous match concluded with the victory of Team 1. The winners were cheered on by the spectators while the runners up were commended for their vigour. The teams were handed over certificates by the teacher coordinator. The tournament turned out to be a huge success.
