The Bhawanipur Education Society College has a reputation of embracing new cultures and of being earnestly sincere regarding new moves. Literally Setu means to cross and before crossing beyond the horizon one should enjoy the voyage of exchange. With a firm belief to keep up the spirit of being unorthodox, Bhawanipur Education Society College has organised “SETU INDUCTION” on 1st August, 2019 from 1:15 pm onwards and ‘The Placement Hall’ was agog with almost 106 students from various streams like BA, B.COM & B.SC.
The programme commenced with an introductory speech by Mrigank Agarwal who is a 3rd year student of B.SC Economics. The students were first introduced with the collective and its real motive. “To see the unseen and to explore the unknown” is the main mantra of this collective. Students from different background and cultures come here to explore a part of the great world and similarly Bhawanipur students visit other colleges to exchange the culture, varied customs and morals and values which are going to stand out at the end. The students were informed about the prospective benefit about the programme.
In this world of millions of people, cultures are also innumerable. Various cultures were also discussed in regards with the past events associated with the cultures as well. The next part of the event acted like an ice breaking session in which the willing students performed and displayed their various talents like rapping and jives. The event being an interactive one allowed the students to come up with new ideas that can be adorned. Coming to its cessation the collective head discussed about the future projects and workshops that students are definitely going to enjoy and thanked everyone for their support to make the programme a successful one.
BESC organised a 5 Day workshop for the Professors of the college on “Companies Act 2013” under the initiative of Prof Dilip Shah. The speakers were eminent professionals from the corporate world and Practicing professionals.
