The Women’s Cell and the Department of Psychology of the B.E.S College organised a seminar on the 8th of March 2019 to commemorate the Women’s Day. Dr. Prama Chakravarti spoke on anxiety management. She spoke about the nature of stress that develops because of anxiety and also the signs or signals of it as well as the means to manage it.
Dr. Sreemoyee Tarafdar spoke on the lack of awareness in the society regarding mental health. She suggested initiatives to do so.
The programme concluded with a street play by the post graduate students of West Bengal State University Barasat.
The programme was attended by students and faculty of our college as well as those from outside.
