The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted a special screening of The Bose Files: Sach Ya Saazish on 3 October 2026 at Jubilee Hall, bringing together students for an intriguing exploration of one of the enduring mysteries surrounding Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Organised by Real Reels, the screening was held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The programme commenced with an introduction by Prof. Dilip Shah, Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, who addressed the gathering and set the context for the screening. The event focused on the story surrounding Netaji’s life after his reported death, presenting a blend of history, mystery, and investigation through the medium of cinema.
The film, directed by Shri Rajesh Gupta, explores the questions and mysteries surrounding Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and encourages viewers to look beyond familiar narratives. The screening provided around 170 students with an opportunity to engage with a subject that has continued to generate discussion and curiosity over the years.
A key highlight of the event was an interaction with director Rajesh Gupta, which allowed students to gain insights into the making of the film and the thought process behind presenting such a historically significant and sensitive subject on screen.
The collaboration between the filmmakers and the college was facilitated by Mr. Prashanta Singhania, who played an important role in connecting the filmmaking team with The Bhawanipur Education Society College.
Towards the conclusion of the programme, Dr. Amala from the Department of Political Science expressed her gratitude to the filmmakers, college authorities, and everyone involved in bringing the screening to the campus. Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi, Vice Principal, delivered the vote of thanks, formally bringing the event to a close.
The special screening offered students an engaging experience at the intersection of history, cinema, and mystery, encouraging them to revisit a significant chapter of India’s past through a contemporary cinematic perspective.
The Bose Files: Sach Ya Saazish is scheduled for theatrical release on 23 October 2026.
