The Stock market club of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a two day workshop on 31.1.2015 and 1.2.2015 on Technical Analysis conducted by Mr. Rajat Bose, a renowned market analyst and Ms. Sharmishta Sen, a technical expert. It was a 10 hrs intensive workshop.
On Day 1, the workshop had a discussion on basic concept oftechnical analysis, market sensitive information, trend lines, trend lengths, different patterns of bearish and bullish market, and stages of market emotions, technical oscillators and indicators. Mr. Rajat Bose compared Technical analysis to the game of chess and Fundamental analysis to a game of cards, “Market is a battlefield. It is a fight between the bulls and the bears.”
The note of Day 2 started with two commitments from Mr. Bose that not only he would be giving guidance to the college stock market club “BULL’S EYE” all the guidance but also he would be enriching our librarywith his valuable collection of bookson capital market. Ms. Sen also gave us intraday trading strategies, with the help of charts and ratios.
Mr. Bose suggested a book “Trading for a living” by Alexander Elder for the beginners and ended the interactive session with his words “Everything is transparent in the market just that one needs to see it.”
The students were given certificates for their participation and for going through a test on stock analysis.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Prof.Vijay Kothari and a momento was handed over to the guest faculty by Prof.Dilip Shah.
