“Happiness doesn’t come as a result from what we get , but from what we give .” When you do things for others, something good happens for you too. Doing a good deed like donating clothes will make you feel good because you’re doing something for a worthy cause. You’re getting rid of the clutter in your home and helping others at the same time.There are many people in need of usable clothing.
The Extension & Outreach Committee of Department of Commerce (Afternoon & Evening Section). On 1st September , 2023 2students and faculty members visited Jammabhumi Briddhashram Dankhin Barasat, Jaynagar with garments. Dresses were contributed by Dr. Sandip Dan , Ms. Paramita Chakraborty, Dr. Joyeta Bhaduri, Ms. Atreyee Ganguly, Mr. Subhendu Barnerjee. Educational stationary items were contributed by Mr. Sayan Roy . And all the faculty members of Afternoon and evening commerce department have also contributed towards this noble cause. The project aims to reach out to old people and orphans. 25 saree , 25 night dresses and 15 t-shirts were distributed among 40 senior citizens ( 25 female and 15 male) and also stationary items were distributed among 22 kids of Janmabhumi Briddhashram Dakshin Barasat, Joynagar.
We thank the management of college, Prof. Saspo Chakraborty Vice Principal (Afternoon & Evening Section) and Prof. Atreyee Ganguly (Coordinator- Afternoon & Evening Section) for their constant support to conduct the entire project without any hassle. We also thank all the faculty members who came forward for this noble cause.
