The Bhawanipur Education Society College received official confirmation of its accreditation with an A grade from NAAC, marking a collective achievement for the college community. To celebrate this milestone, on February 2, 2024, the management extended invitations to the entire Bhawanipur College fraternity, bringing together both institutions after the acquisition of NSHM College the previous year.
As the day unfolded, preparations included a screening of the movie “Sam Bahadur” before the main celebration at the NSHM campus. By 5:00 pm, travel arrangements were made, and by 6:45 pm, a crowd of around 400 people, including teaching and non-teaching staff, gathered to enjoy a spread of delicacies. The evening featured a lively session of Antakshari hosted by Mr. Rajat Baid, engaging faculty members in spirited singing.
At 7:45 pm, the felicitation ceremony commenced, with Mr. Cecil Anthony, the promoter of NSHM Kolkata Campus, extending a warm welcome. The Chairman of BESC, Mr. Rajnikant Dani, along with Vice Chairman Mr. Miraj D. Shah and Mr. Pradip Sheth, announced the names of key contributors to the NAAC process and felicitated them on stage. The top management also joined in singing to enhance the celebratory spirit. The Vice-Chancellor offered congratulations and appreciation for everyone’s contribution to the NAAC process.
The event was a perfect blend of camaraderie, delicious food, and melodious tunes, creating unforgettable memories under the starry winter sky. Here’s to many more milestones on our journey of excellence!
