The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a four-day workshop in collaboration with EY, bringing together students from BESC, J.D. Birla Institute (JDBI), and Shri Shikshayatan College. Conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. over four days—28, 29, and 30 September and 1 October 2026—the workshop focused on preparing students for their upcoming internship interviews with EY and equipping them with skills that could prove valuable in their future professional journeys.

With around 30 students participating, the workshop provided an opportunity for students from the three institutions to learn together and gain greater exposure to the expectations of the corporate world. The initiative was particularly relevant for students preparing to enter the internship selection process, as it offered them a platform to strengthen their preparation before facing interviews.

The four-day programme was designed to help students become more confident and better prepared for their EY internship interviews. The sessions focused on familiarising participants with the professional environment and helping them approach the recruitment process with greater clarity. Interacting and learning alongside students from JDBI and Shri Shikshayatan College also added a collaborative dimension to the programme.

The extended format of the workshop allowed participants to dedicate four consecutive days to preparation rather than treating interview preparation as a one-time activity. Students had the opportunity to engage with the sessions, understand what would be expected of them during the selection process, and work towards improving their overall readiness.

For students aspiring to pursue careers in professional services and corporate organisations, such exposure can be particularly valuable. Internship interviews often serve as an early introduction to corporate recruitment, making preparation an important part of the process. The workshop therefore aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical expectations students are likely to encounter during recruitment and throughout their careers.

The participation of students from three different colleges also fostered an environment of interaction and shared learning. Students could learn alongside peers from other institutions while preparing for the same professional opportunity, making the workshop a broader learning experience rather than simply an interview-training programme.

The four-day EY workshop concluded with participants gaining greater confidence and a better understanding of the internship interview process. Beyond its immediate purpose of preparing students for EY interviews, the programme also provided professional exposure that could benefit them in future interviews, internships, and workplace situations.

With around 30 students participating over four days, the workshop served as a valuable step towards preparing students for the transition from college to the corporate world. By bringing together students from The Bhawanipur Education Society College, J.D. Birla Institute, and Shri Shikshayatan College, the initiative combined professional preparation, peer interaction, and practical exposure, helping participants approach their upcoming opportunities with greater confidence.
