Objective of the Event: The objective of the departmental picnic was to promote interpersonal communication between students and faculty members, encourage team spirit, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of belonging within the department through shared experiences.
Brief Description of the Event: The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication organized a departmental picnic on 8 January at Nonamati, Minakha, West Bengal. The bus departed from in front of the college campus at 9:00 AM and reached the destination at around 11:00 AM. The day was spent on sightseeing and various leisure-based activities. Students actively participated in games along with the teachers, creating a joyful and inclusive shared space. Lunch and high tea were arranged at the venue. The return journey began at 5:00 PM, and the group reached the college campus at approximately 7:00 PM, after which the participants proceeded to their respective homes.
Outcome of the Event: The picnic successfully strengthened faculty–student bonding, enhanced interpersonal communication, and contributed to students’ emotional well-being. The activity created a positive and inclusive environment beyond the classroom, reinforcing institutional values of collaboration, participation, and holistic development.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College played host to a literary event that left attendees enraptured. The BESC family witnessed the much awaited “BHAWANIPUR DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY” on 16th September 2015, organized at the college pavillion. After a rigorous audition procedure, eighteen top participants were shortlisted and they competed against each other to ensnare the prestigious title and the dazzling golden trophy.
The ‘Bull’s Eye Collective’ induction was organised at the 6th floor’s Concept Hallon 23rd August.The induction was attended by more than 100 students.The event started off with a welcome address presented by the Collective’s student coordinatorAyushAgarwal.
