Objective of the Event:
The objective of Bonfire’26 was to provide a competitive and experiential platform for students to apply management concepts in real-world scenarios. The fest aimed to enhance leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills while encouraging innovation and collaboration among participants.
Brief Description of the Event:
Bonfire’26, organized by the Department of Business Administration at The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata, was a three-day national-level management fest held from 24th to 26th April 2026. The theme for this year, “Endgame: Compete to Control,” focused on strategic dominance, decision-making under pressure, and competitive excellence.
The fest was conducted in association with Edugraph and Selvel One and was powered by 91.9 Friends FM. The inaugural ceremony featured esteemed dignitaries and industry experts who delivered insightful sessions including Corporate Speak, Media Speak, Market Speak, Keynote Address, and Entrepreneur Speak, followed by an interactive session with the audience.






Bonfire’26 hosted over 25 events across domains such as finance, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship. The competitions were designed to test analytical thinking, creativity, and managerial skills through case studies, simulations, and interactive rounds. The fest witnessed participation from 35 colleges, including outstation institutions such as Dayanand Sagar Business School, making it a diverse and highly competitive platform. The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries who felicitated the winners and appreciated the efforts of participants and organizers.
Outcome of the Event:
Bonfire’26 successfully provided a platform for students to enhance their practical knowledge and develop essential managerial competencies. Participants gained exposure to industry expectations, improved their communication and strategic skills, and built valuable networks with peers and professionals.
In terms of results, JD Birla Institute emerged as the Overall Winner of the fest, followed by EICASA as the First Runner-Up and Techno India University as the Second Runner-Up. The title of Best College Representative was also awarded to a participant from JD Birla Institute.
The event also contributed significantly to the development of organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills among the student organizers, making it a holistic learning experience.
