You Made Every Move Count

The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted its flagship Blood Donation Carnival – UNO on 11th September 2026, in collaboration with Project Life Force (PLF), with additional support from the NSS Collective. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the carnival witnessed 545 successful blood donations, reaffirming the spirit of compassion and youth-led social responsibility.

The theme UNO transformed the conventional blood donation drive into an engaging celebration of giving. With the message “Draw Life. Make Your Move,” donors were encouraged to think of every act of donation as a powerful card in the game of life—Skip the excuses, Reverse the odds, Draw courage, and Go Wild to make a difference.

Despite an early-morning downpour and waterlogging, which resulted in a slow start, the momentum steadily grew through the day. The morning commenced with the unifying PLF chant, “I am the Change,” followed by the announcement of Camp Chiefs Vineet Shaw, Pooja Sadhwani Sabnani and Danesh Tarapore. The inaugural lamp-lighting ceremony was graced by Sri Rajanikant Dani, Chairman, BESC, along with members of the management, faculty and volunteers.

The donation process was systematically organised, with donors undergoing registration, health screening and medical consultation before being assigned to the Red or Blue Team, representing the Saroj Gupta Cancer Center & Research Institute and People’s Blood Bank.

The carnival atmosphere continued with a flash mob, enactment, dance performances and a DJ session, celebrating donors and volunteers alike. Each donor received a certificate, donor cap and refreshments, along with a memorable photo-booth moment.

Marking the 12th year of collaboration between PLF and BESC, the carnival concluded with a powerful reminder: Every Drop Counts. Heartfelt gratitude goes to PLF, NSS, every volunteer, organiser and, most importantly, every donor who showed up, stepped up and chose to make a difference.
