“The Tricolour is more than a flag; it is a symbol of our shared pride, unity and national spirit.”

The Bhawanipur Education Society College observed the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on 10th August 2026 with a rally organised by the NCC and NSS units of the college. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the National Flag and encourage a sense of pride in and respect for the Tricolour.

The rally began around 10:00 a.m. from the College Turf with the singing of the National Anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the event. The participants then moved through the college premises before taking the campaign beyond the campus.

Carrying the Tiranga with pride, the rally proceeded through Elgin Road towards Netaji Bhawan before continuing to Subhas Udyan, popularly known as Northern Park. After completing a lap around the park, the participants made their way back to the college.

The rally also focused on taking the message of the campaign to the wider community. Along the route, students distributed the National Flag to passers-by, encouraging them to participate in the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga. The sight of students carrying and distributing the Tricolour created a visible sense of enthusiasm and patriotic spirit among the people along the way.

Beyond being a rally, the initiative served as a reminder of the significance of the National Flag and the values it represents. It gave students an opportunity to actively participate in spreading awareness and carrying the message of the campaign beyond the college gates.

The rally concluded with the participants returning to BESC, bringing an end to a meaningful morning of awareness, participation and patriotism. Through the combined efforts of the NCC and NSS units, the Har Ghar Tiranga Rally successfully encouraged students to celebrate the Tricolour while sharing its spirit with the larger community.
